For the 392 crew. What 0-60 times is everyone getting on the street?

Post your best time and what settings you used.

i got 4.30 once with my 2011 A5 (no wheel spin)

i could typically get 4.5 consistently with almost no wheel spin

id assume you guys can do better with the A8 and that extra 15 hp

    going down a mountain i got a 2.5 once

Cmon, someone has to be checking some 0-60 times in a 2015.

    2.5 downhill? Pffttt.

I got 4.8 in the snow. Uphill. Both ways.

    :)

My performance pages says a little over 5 last I checked... haven't tried a true launch 0-60 yet. That 5 second time is with wheel spin or too little throttle as I tried to prevent the spin LOL.

So far I'm consistently 4.7 - 5.0. But I'm 4,400 feet above sea level. I'm guessing 4.2 - 4.3 if I were rolling on the Pacific Coast Hwy at sea level? My best quarter was 12.9 @ 106 mph. Best launch was with TC completely off stalling at around 1,000 rpm. I like the launch control, but it consistently nets 4.9 - 5.2 stalling at 1500 rpm. Launch control is fun to show your friends, but doesn't do miracles for your times.

I'm guessing you are closer to sea level? Great times!

Got to try it out last night. I consistently ran a 4.8. It was very humid out so I feel like I wasn't able to get a great bite off the line.

So far I've run 4.8 with and without launch control. Transmission in sport and suspension in street. All season tires.

Gotta figure out how to get into the low 4's!

Posted some great times tonight in the cool 48 degree air at 4,450 feet above sea level! Tire pressure was at 34. 0-60 consistently 4.6 - 4.7. I have just over 1,000 miles on my Charger SRT 392.

Here is a picture of my setup as well. Note I turned the traction control completely off (hold the traction control button for about seven seconds with the vehicle stopped). I also shifted in manual mode by pulling the shifter to the left into manual and used the paddle shifters. I also used the stock shift light settings with absolutely no launch control.

To launch I used the "shoulder roll" technique meaning I rolled onto the gas slowly- basically only as fast as a person can smoothly roll one of their shoulder's forward while sitting upright in a chair.

Placing my foot on the brake and gas I manually held the vehicle at about 1800 rpm.

I then released the brake and began pressing on the gas at the speed of the shoulder roll technique. This works great! Get it right and you hook up like a beast! Get it wrong, pushing on the gas too fast, and the tires go up in smoke!

I feel like I threw down some strong numbers for my elevation on street tires! I'm guessing 3.9 with drag radials at sea level.

I ordered a K&N Typhoon FIPK today. Hopefully it will get me sub 4.5 0 to 60's!

    Nice!

They are listed as being able to do it in 4.2. I'm 1,200 above sea level but it's been almost 100 degrees here with the humidity at about 70%. By the time I get somewhere to do a run the car is already really hot.
