I see a lot of people posting ET's with Drag Radials, i have not been able to find any with stock summer tires.
Recently i took my a8 to the track and second pass driving i ran a 11.60 with a 1.9 60'.
Was just curious what others have been able to achieve. I felt i left a little on the table at the launch and tires broke loose going into 4th so i think its possible to hit 11.2 maybe 11.1 without DR's.
The folks at DSS say a 1 piece will help improve a tenth or so but i'm assuming thats with DR's,
and reduce stress to drive train due to more torsional twist.

I guess what i'm asking what are others reaching with stock a8 and p-zeros on a decent prep track.
And is a 1 piece alum shaft necessary with stock tires at the track.

    Thanks

    dodge says 11.2

the ones ive seen at the track with stock tires always do horrible...most of them ive seen were M6's and always in the 12"s...one guy was in the 14's

i just switched my DS this week...im not hoping for 1/10 from it.....i really feel no difference and dont see his a DS gains you time...ill see next summer

i think your doing well with 11.6

Not sure about a 1/10....but an reduction in dynamic / rotational mass (i.e. driveshaft, rims) pay off much more than static mass

11.6 is pretty solid on street tires. I have only run on the drags, it's too frustrating to not have traction at the track with street tires

1.7-2.0 is a good range for stock tires. They like heat :)
