Can someone with an A8 do a 1/4 run in 500 hp mode for me please. Im considering an A8 and need to know what the 1/4 time is in 500 mode. I know 707 will get you 10.8 to 11.2 range. Need to know what 500 gets. Thanks

The logic is at the track if you run quicker than 11.5 you need a cage if your doing competition. If you run all out with an A8 is 707 mode you will be too quick. So I want to see what it does in 500 hp mode. I did it with my m6 and it was around 13 secs.

You thinking about bracket racing? (I admit my knowledge is very limited so if that is not the correct term ignore me)

Yup bracket racing. On street legal days where you just race whoever is lined up next to you, they are a little more relaxed on the rules, but when competing for points for the season and doing competition races you must have a roll cage according to nhra rules if your going to be 11.49 or quicker

My M6 runs 11.6 so im basically right on the verge, however the A8s are way more consistent.

hmm makes sense, guess Dodge didn't think it thru to well or *maybe* they were counting on the strips not letting the HC race without a roll bar.... cause most people would not install a roll bar just to hobby race....

    Hey it's a theory...

Hard to find a decent demon these days. I believe they were only made for 2 years or something like that because religious fanatics were freaking out because of the name. Makes me love my hellcat more and more. Im a few years out on that build. As i am a young pup still. (32) with a hellcat payment and a new mortgage and a bulldog that eats me out of house and home, the demon will be a few years out.

Yeah, my first love is 2nd gen T/A's. especially the 77-78. They used to be cheap but after my last project car got stolen i haven't been able to find a good base car cheap. So guess I will have to wait as well. But *someday* I will have that 4 bay garage and the time to tinker and there will be another WS6 sitting in one of the bays having a frame off....
