its really annoying how the cat shifts to 4th from 1st on occasion, I remember you guys posted the solution it looked like a little solenoid mod , what brand is preferred ? will it void warranty? I searched for it but cant find it, btw this could get you killed if trying to accelerate in traffic etc just really really a piss off that's all

I got mine from SpeedLogix. Took me a few minutes to install it while the car was on jack stands. So much better without that annoying skip shift! I felt the same as you that it was going to cause an accident.

EPA and lawyers.. no worries about warranty, my dealer popped it on for free when doing an oil change

Hey FrankCastle...I have a spare that I would be glad to send to you. It is from PMPS of Huntington Beach, CA and it has worked great on several of my Vipers. And since I only have my Charger Hellcat at present, I see no need to keep this device any more. Getting rid of the "skip-shift" is one of the most satisfying things you can do. If you would like this last CAGS eliminator, just send me your mailing address and I will drop it in the mail to you. Mike, Estero, FL

How are you guys encountering this? On my old Z06 it would rarely - and I mean rarely - happen, but I got the skip-shift eliminator anyway. On the Cat, it has never happened and I've tried to get it to do it. Driven around a parking lot at idle in first gear, pulled away from lights at Grandma pace; nothing.

On my '09 Challenger R/T, it was not to my liking. If the rpm's were over 2,000 it wouldn't engage.
IMO it is a potential safety hazard. If you drove normal, and at the shift to 4th you needed to get moving, it took an extra step to lower gear and then accelerate, as opposed to just hitting the gas.
The skip-shift is absurd. Morons thought it was a good idea.
