I have had 2, both a stock one and a supercharged Yellow Jacket.
It's an awesome daily driver. I did a Magnaflow axle back exhaust, AFE intake and a custom e mail tune from Mike @ OST Dyno along with a Tranzformer and the car was a blast to drive! It also got decent mileage; 15-16 city and 23-25 highway.
I drove most of the time in Sport mode.
I also added a Lockpick and a back up camera.
I only sold it because I replaced it with an A8 Scat Pack.
I drive my Wife's SC'd Yellow Jacket occasionally and I really enjoy it.

great ride, I hate the blind spots and lack of rear camera I got really spoiled with the new Hellcat.

No problems with every day driver has plenty of room in back seat and trunk. And yes it will get ok mpg if you can keep you foot out of it.

i would not pay much if anything extra because its a yellow jacket...maybe $500

when i sold my IE i got about $1,000 extra for it for the package....not much different than its a special pkg too...mine was a #'d car and the YG isnt.....i do like the rims....not so much the side stripe, but it is retro

if they are pricing it as a normal SRT then go for it..

the one selling near me locally didnt sell well...they had it on sale after 6 months sitting in a showroom...it could be had for thousands off sticker.....anything different=i like it....id take it as a daily driver if your in warm temps all winter

In truth, consider it just another SRT8 Challenger. It does have a unique color, and some specific exterior and interior accents. But, that's it. In fact, on a performance standpoint, it doesn't even have forged wheels like other SRT8s. It has the cast wheels from the "Core" models. YJs aren't numbered for any rarity, either. Now, don't get my response wrong, I like them, and obvious it's still a very cool car. My point is, don't pay any extra for it, unless you just love the color and want to be a bit different from the standard sea of Red, Silvers, Blacks and so on...

i believe they were $2k extra originally for the appearance pkg....in 20-30 years it may hold a bit more interest at a car show...but not really...i never really understood creating a new character just to sell a yellow car....i figured because the 2010 yellows didnt sell well they needed to add more pizzazz to the mix and used a bee character to make a yellow car more tough and manly

So everyone here has to be an expert before they buy a challenger? I'm a huge challenger fan and always will be!!! I joined the forum to become a better fan and also become more educated about my hellcat!! Share the joy and happiness the hellcat provides to me and everyone else here!! I'm fan enough to know I have the best modern challenger made so far!! I'm not here to be belittled and bullied by u huggy tree! I asked for an opion on the car not my knowledge! U don't know anything about me so please keep your belittling comments about me to your self. Not appreciated..

    take a joke and chill

i dont even know if what i said is real or not about that YG being the official concept car for the challenger...

seems like too many people here are wound too tight

my comment seemed rude/odd to you because it was me messing with you...not being serious.....

too many bullies kicked sand in your face as a kid to think a guy named 'huggytree' is also a bully?

you could thank me for the pic of the concept baring the YG name....i think its a cool find

Huggy, I think the YJ link was a cool find. I had heard about it, and may have seen those pics a long time ago. But, I really didn't even remember it until this point (seeing them was a refresher).

But, Internet, text, forums, and emails do not portray emotions, or intent. Even I read your comment and though you were possibly being pompous and arrogant about it all. I'm a NY'er. I'm all about sarcasm and such. lol But, I always make sure there's some "lol", or "jk", or witty smiley face after a jest, or sarcastic remark to let the people/person know I'm just playing. Just food for thought. :D

Hey man, it's the world we live in, especially with technology where it is. lol
Like I said, people can't see you're smiling behind a computer screen. Well, unless you're Skype'ing, or Facetime'ing, or something... ;)
