Hi everyone, new to site , Mopar member in Saskatoon, SK. Canada for a number of years.
Love the Challenger, owned few, but time is coming for the Hellkitty purchase...!!!
No luck getting a new one, one year waiting, at list, at the local Dodge dealer,
So I will start looking in Alberta, BC or Manitoba. Or even a used one with low KM.
My question to you guys, is:
What are the differences between the 2015 and 2016 models? if any.
    Thank you

Two new colors and a stripe option. I seem to recall an update to the NAV unit, but it may only be for the US folks.

Leather and 8.4Nav is standard now to try to make up for the price increase, which it does most of, but not all....

Hello, and welcome to the forum! The only changes I am aware of are the ones already mentioned by others above. Good Luck in your search, and let us know when you get your Hellcat so that we may congratulate you! :)

Good morning and welcome to the family. Stripes are available now on both vehicles.

Apparently for 2016, the oil pan and oil cooler drain bolts are now the same size.

Hello and welcome to the forum. I had a 15 and just replaced it with a 16 a week ago tomorrow. The above mentioned items are all correct. I have also noticed that some of the things displayed are slightly different between the two and that the trunk on my new 16 and on two others that I looked at (both were non Hellcats but were both 16 models) the trunks close easier and the tail lights line up much better than on previous models.

I had an 09 that the trunk didn't fit or close very well, it was just like the 15 but nothing like the 16's. Big improvement here. Plus, and this may be a fluke or it may be an improvement, I can't say either way but the overall fit, finish and quality of the paint job is much better than the 15.

I think it is hit and miss with the paint job. Two cars built 1 week apart, one a MY2015 and one a MY2016; same paint but the 2016 was horrible compared to the 2015.

Send a PM to ResumeSpeed with your VIN, and he can tell you the build number. At least I know he could for the 2015s ... I am not certain about the 2016s.

There were some recalls and TSBs on early 2015s that should have been completed.
2015s HK system sounded terrible until the firmware update released last year was applied. Mine was built in August and until the firmware update the stereo sounded like it playing through a kazoo. Now it sounds great.

Also supposedly the 2016s got an updated HK system that loads apps/pages quicker. I haven't seen any actual comparison confirming a difference though.

Looks like they added some features - not anything I care about but added features some will want. I was mostly concerned with the speed the SRT pages load which is pretty slow on my 2015. Not a big concern. Now if they had added 50+ HP for 2016, I'd be pi$$ed.

I wasn't a fan of the drag and drop feature and felt the 2015 UConnect was more user friendly.
