Why has the rate dropped below the avg rate. They ramped up, finally in Nov and Dec, supposed to be increasing capacity over the initial runs, but it looks like they are slowing down since Feb? Looks currently like only 300 cars per month. :(

They didn't build any for about a week recently... I'm guessing parts supply issues

Thanks for making this chart ! The Elephant is the room is " How can 2015 not be sold out " there are around 1500 orders alone not filled from sept alone . Let's say they avg 500 a month going forward . They will be around 4000 cars built end of May ! Thoughts ?

No doubt, the Charger HC has impacted Challenger production .
I've not a clue how this will play out.

    Certainly doesn't look promising.

Unless they are just building huge quantity, keeping them hidden somewhere for a spring surprise, it certainly doesn't seem the math will work out.

If its superchargers holding things back, time to call Eaton.....

Seems there are many ways to get things on track, but if you are short on parts..... you are in trouble.....

All that great pre-release press could be negated by a parts debacle and not being able to deliver.....

Hopefully changes will be made, new processes established, and things will be made better.....

15 Sublime automatic, Nav, Brass Monkey, Sepia leather on order.......

I would love to just hear one consistent message from SRT and Dealers that makes sense and seems fair . Suppliers while scrambling can typically scale up some. They would be thrilled to get the extra sales and profit , replacement business down the road and reduced engineering costs.

Does anybody know how many HC's are currently ordered? Since I didn't get a VON until a month ago, I am wondering if I came to the party too late.

I did hear that the west coast strike may be over. If that had anything to do with the slow-down, there is hope.

I heard there were over 12000 orders, believe that was stated by Ted.

I'm sure Dodge can tell how many duplicate orders there are...simple database query. Of course if people are placing orders under different names...wives, children, brothers, etc., that will be harder to detect, but doubt that has happened much if any. I have one order placed, another going in tomorrow, but exact same name, same address, etc. I'm not trying to fool Dodge, just trying to get to the VIN line a little quicker. Over 2 months with a VON in #4 (or #5?) position at my original dealer. Thought I'd try to move and managed to secure a #2 spot.
