I'm sorry if this was brought up earlier, but I need to be enlightened on a question. The 2015 Hellcat Challengers that have been sitting on dealer's lots for 10K-30K over MSRP, at this point do they really think they're sell for that ?

Depending on how long the cars have been there I'd guess they will at least lower their ADM's. But greed runs rampant in the automobile dealer group. I hope FCA continues their program to not fill dealer orders if previous cars sat on the lot too long.

Most all 6 speeds anymore are available for MSRP. Chrysler has stepped up production so we are going to get to a saturation point where they will have to start reducing the prices to sell cars. When that happens, who knows.

Talk to several over the weekend, 10K-30K. 30K was in TN. So is there any documentation that says if you had a Hellcat for so many days and not sold it you can't order another?

I can tell you from firsthand experience that many Tennessee dealers are brain-damaged assgoblins. The current consensus regarding FCA policy is that anyone who has a '15 sitting on their lot right now is not going to have much hope of being allocated any '16s, especially if that 'cat has been on the floor for longer than 30 days.

Be some nice karmic justice if it works out that way, but we'll see. FCA makes the Army look damn well-run by comparison.

Chrysler takes average time on the lot into consideration when giving allocations for additional vehicles.

FCA announced several months ago that they would not fill additional dealer orders if their previous Hellcat sat on the lot over 5 days. I don't know if that still applies.

When you bring up the allocations coming up and they have Hellcats sitting around the dealers seem not to really care.

If that is true 3/4 of the Southeast US won't be getting Hellcats LOL. I think I heard that also about the 5 days.

The allocation system was/is BS. I've watched as the scam artist local dealers (Airport, Lakeland, Ferman (multiple stores), Daytona etc.) hold cars for weeks on end playing the "bidding war" & ADM game & still get additional allocations allotted to them. It's all lip service to try & pacify the sheeple, there's no way FCA is going to cut off the allocations to these guys IMO.

Even if FCA has suddenly found it's spine for the '16 model year, I doubt the initial allocations will be based much on if the dealers still have unsold inventory on hand. If you read carefully, the announcement says they MAY have their Feb. allocation altered if they do not keep inventory "moving" whatever that means. No mention of the old (and totally ignored) 5 day rule.

Like Catscratch said, if FCA actually enforced the stated allocation parameters, 3/4 of the dealers in FL, AZ, CA, TN etc. would not be getting any Cats at all.

Anyone else having trouble asking the Dodge website to search for 2015 Challenger Hellcat inventory?

    Owner has multiple dealerships.

    Dealer A "moves/sells" car to dealer B
    Dealer B "moves/sells" car to dealer A

Neither has Hellcat sitting on paper now past 5 days, but both have a car to markup.

Dealer A gets a new allocation
Dealer B gets a new allocation

    Rinse and repeat.

Yep, and they have gone so far as lease the car to themselves, showing that it is "no longer" available so they can get their next allocation. It's a shell game just like the governments handling of the federal reserve!!

What's not to love about that!
