Hi guys, long time lurker here and proud owner of a 6 speed, 2015 SRT 392. After 9000 miles of awesome ownership, it's time to move from N/A status and go a little forced induction. Like many owners, I was unable to obtain a Hellcat at MSRP and with my desired options, so I bought a beautiful sublime SRT 392 and the plan was from day one to supercharge this car. From talking around, I may be the first supercharged 2015 392. The car is currently at Serious Horsepower Performance in Houston, TX receiving 2618 forged internals and a 2.9L Whipple blower.

Anyways, I know alot of guys are wondering what the '15 models are putting down. Here is my SAE corrected dyno from Saturday (5/6/15) during the baseline. Confirmed everything I suspected about these cars being grossly underrated. SAE 446rwhp and 438rwtq.

To anyone interested in the build, I can continue to update this thread with the build progress and details. Shooting for mid 600's pump gas tune and 850-900whp E85 tune. Oh, car has a Zex kit too[IMG]

What's 446 hp translate to at the motor?not sure what kind of drivetrain loss these modern cars are experiencing but even using 15% loss that's 513hp at the flywheel bone stock! Nice!

Definitely interested...please keep us posted, and keep the pics coming.

I had always played with the idea of supercharging my srt8, but never did. Now seeing what your doing, im regretting not doing it.

Hellhound is that an aftermarket hood, or did you customize it with the heat extractors?

I totally agree with budkole. That's not a very nice comment. All of our cars are unique in some way. I myself have wondered what sort of numbers would show up with some modification. Right on! Keep me posted as well

I'll say it again from my own personal posting about Cracking the Code for the new 2015 SRT for a SC. I don't think the SRT crowd is looking to out do the Hellcat. Between the money spent and the wait time I feel the SRT is plenty of fun and has the Technology Package. Which for some outweighs the Hellcat. And I live in the DC metro area which has the worst traffic in the nation. The Adaptive Cruise Control is incredible. Just set the ACC and relax. And the lane assist which steers the car down the road is insane, if there are lines on the road the car will steer itself through a corner. You can take your hands off the steering wheel and gas and brake and the car drives itself. Believe it or not the Washington DC beltway is crazy fast . You are not the fastest driver at 80 MPH. 90MPH plus to stay up with the crazies. If you r out to prove your fast car in the DC area u r 100MPH plus to make your point. So for all the go fast drivers u have to blast a guy at 80-90 MPH TO SHOW YOUR POWER. ITS TOO CRAZY AND SERIOUS VIOLATIONS AT THESE SPEEDS.
AND ONCE AGAIN THE SRT FOLKS SEEM TO BE HAS BEENS WHEN 2-5 years ago a 485HP car was pretty awesome. So for the Hellcat crowd you have an awesome car and for me personally I can only hope there are just a few Helcats and many more SRT's. If every one has a Hellcat than the uniqueness goes away. And Hell yeah I will SC my SRT and it will be s sleeper which I think makes it even more fun.

Not to hijack, but there's that Lane Assist thing, again: is it just Challengers that lack it?
