Local dealer in my area, have purchased a truck and a HC there and, obviously, would recommend this salesman and dealer.
    Thanks

The "proud new owner" owes you dinner, or a beer, or a tank full of gas;)

To be honest, I'm begging to think that I'm never going to get my replacement Cat from ISG/FCA and I'm
thinking of asking for a refund to just go buy another car. I'm even considering a Charger Hellcat this go
around but I still haven't saw one in person.

When I saw this thread pop up it peeked my curiosity.

    Alas, I was too slow.........

Thanks to you and everyone else that posts leads on these cars especially when it's at a reasonable dealer!

I'm giving ISG one more week. If they haven't at least gotten a VON and some forward movement out of FCA,
I'll ask for a refund and then I'll be serious about finding a car sitting on a lot for MSRP.

hellcat1....Thank you very much. I greatly appreciate the offer but I wouldn't want anyone to go to any trouble
until I give them one more week. If there's no forward movement on it I'll be in the market...again....UGGHHH!o_O

Thanks guys. I don't mind traveling, I've done it for work for more than 25 years. I have found a handful of cars just like I'm trying to order. I'm going to give ISG and FCA another week, if they can't get it together I'll ask for a
refund and just go find one sitting on a lot (hopefully at MSRP!)

Well...I love my Challenger HC...but...honestly, the Charger is just as much fun to drive...when you fire it up and hear that rumble you tend to forget it is a four door sedan, the ride is a little better, the visibility is greatly improved, and there will never be as many Charger HC's as Challenger HC's. If you want to see one, it is not that far from Knoxville to Murfreesboro. When we made it to Knoxville on the way home from Philly with the Charger we felt like we were home already.:)

209srt8s....If that's an invite, it's much appreciated. It also reminds me that a few of us (in TN and surrounding area) have discussed setting up a "meet and greet" sometime in the next summer. It still just talk and there may
or may not be anything that ever comes of it but I'm going to do my best to contact you if and when it happens.

In fact, it may be that if and when it occurs, you may be closer to a good "central location" than I am.

Do you prefer the Charger over the Challenger? Like I've said, I have never even saw one. For that matter, I also
have not sat down in one of the new Chargers. I very much like the way that they look. I also didn't think about
better visibility but that does make sense.

Which car do you like better, overall?

Cannot deny the sportiness and style of the Challenger, but as far as getting in one of them and going on a short or long trip, the Charger. As for a Sunday drive it just depends on what mood I'm in. And yes, that was an invite, if you are "on the fence" IMO you need to kick the tires.

Thank you very much for the invite and for the post.

I expected that you would say basically just what you said. I'm still hoping that the one that ISG "has ordered" for
me shows up, but it's not looking all that likely as of now.

Would you be up for a "meet and greet" during the summer if there is enough interest to set up something? I've
had 8 to 10 chime in with an affirmative answer. Of course there are no concrete plans as to when or where it
    may take place yet.

Hope you get the one you ordered.
I love my charger, much more stealthy and practical in my opinion, especially for the company car.
You can't go wrong with either, it's just tough to get clients to climb in the back of a two door. So, I had to have a four door. The worlds fastest one sounded like a good choice for me!

Yes on the" meet and greet"... a couple of thoughts just off the cuff...first weekend or so in April is the Challenger Fest up in Bowling Green, KY. at the Beech Bend Drag Strip and we have the Music City Mopar Club Show the last Saturday in Sept. just off I-40 in Lebanon, TN.:) We have 8-10 HC's in the club now...3 of them are Chargers.
