Serious Paint issues with my 2016 HC Challenger. Before this issue gets ugly is there any contacts upstairs at SRT that read this forum that can take a look my situation and advise? All I ask is take a look at some pictures and details and advise.
Having owned 7 New Rams since 2004 without a single warranty issue or hiccup only to have SRT's Flagship fall way short is very disappointing to say the least and leaving me extremely frustrated!!!
If anyone has contact info for someone beyond the phone rep you get when calling SRT please message me.

OK here's how its gonna go down. SRT has one week to agree to replace this car at no cost to me as well as reimbursing me for the Modesta paint protection at $1690.00 and the full car 3M window tint at $350.00 or the car including pictures and details of all affected areas will be listed for sale (for the exposure) on ALL major website such as e-bay, Auto trader, Hemmings, Dupont Registry, ETC. As well as being plastered on EVERY website forums that remotely have anything to do with Dodge, SRT, or automotive performance in general.

I will have my webmaster ensure that these classified ads and forum posts rank high on google searches resulting in thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people WORLDWIDE that google Dodge, Challenger, Charger, Hemi, Hellcat, SRT, Performance, Etc come across this car and the issues with it. If they want to break it off in my ass than I will try to defer as many future car sales that I can!!

My attorney has the papers ready to send to Dodge as well. This blatantly flagrant lack of quality and Shameful customer service and support WILL NOT STAND!!!

Anyone interested in a class/group action lawsuit against FCA and/or its affiliates that have similar issues please feel free to contact me to discuss.

    THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING!!!!!!

What's the issues? Typically you can go to the dealer and notify them of the issues. They take whats called DI (Digital Imaging) and submit it. FCA then approves or denies the claim. If approved it tells the dealer what needs to be replaced/painted etc. If there are bubbles in the paint or dirt in the clear coat, typically they have no problem fixing that. If there are minor scratches it needs to be sent to a detailer, not body shop.

In the case of mine, I had front bumper fitment issues. After 10 months my car goes in for proper fix (This monday) because of dealer and problems with FCA. I had to get a lawyer involved.

i have a 2015 my best friend owns a high end body shop and just ripped the factory paint job apart when i first got the car. He found a couple of runs and a number of places with dirt in the clear coat. It is what it is I'd NEVER have a dealer look at it as they would only make it much much worse.

edit: to the normal eye the car looks fine.

I think you need to start with the dealer. Let them make it worse. Then call SRT.

For reference, per FCA, this "flaw" behind my 1/4 window is a normal characteristic for this car. FML:(

After having the car for a short time I was detailing and noticed a serious crack in the clear coat image.jpeg , very strange as there is no dents or visible damage to paint just a crack in the clear coat

The paint on these cars is horrible. I have a few bumps under my paint, a section of trunk deck showing bare metal and numerous chips already.

I haven't. When did you first see it? How old is the car? Show dealer first ,call Srt second, shoot last no but that's only going to get worse. Their probably going to blame you if you wait too long.

Considering its Sublime in color, I think he's going to be screwed as that car is over a year old. No one is going to cover that unless he has 10miles on the ODO.

Really! How come you don't see it on every car. What did they tell you caused that "characteristic"?
