    I've read 3 different dates for opening of the 2016 order banks. 8/10, 8/13 & 8/25.
Does anyone have a definite date?
Also wondering with the new allocation system, ( where dealers are supposed to be informed as to how many Hellcats they can expect to receive), when will they have this info. ? I certainly hope they will be supplied with their potential allocation numbers BEFORE the order banks open.
Supposedly they can only order as many as their potential allocation number.

8/25 is the oldest news, therefore no longer accurate.
8/13 seems to be the actual order day.
8/10 was in reference to "the week of"

No info on exactly when dealers are informed about their allocation... however I would have to assume it would be before 8/13.

    Thanks Taz
I am also very curious as to VON Vouchers.
Some here have stated that they were told vouchers will be "dealer specific ".
So here is a 'what if' for you,
what if the reason I don't have a Hellcat in my garage is because my dealer did not and will not qualify for an allocation? ???

I just hope FCA doesn't screw up this year as they did last year. What a fiasco.
I'm not looking to order till maybe March of next year. (I hope to anyways, if all goes well.) That will give the snow and crap to melt before the car arrives. I'm hoping 3 months or so. If my local dealerships cannot offer me a MSRP 2016 Hellcat Challenger and within a certain time frame, I may look at other car makes unfortunately. I already have a Roush Stage 3 Mustang, so adding a Hellcat would be awesome. I don't want to wait half a year or more for a car though.

I ask the gal that was gathering my voucher information about the dealer specific thingy and she told me that it is my voucher to do with as I see fit and any dealer could get reimbursed from Dodge for any and all vouchers they accepted for Hellcats they had allocations for. That's the story I got but with Dodge's current track record of customer service and forthcoming communications who knows.

There is one dealer whose orders that will result in 190 plus vouchers being issued and there is no way that they can be dealer specific unless they are good through the year 2030.

Thanks Sled, that is what I assumed the situation would be. But, like you said, with FCA, who knows.

I'm pretty sure the vouchers are not dealer specific. There is a chance that my small dealer won't get any allocation at all, so the voucher wouldn't do me any good with them.

As soon as the 13th comes up... I'll know whether I'm going through the same dealer or not. The only reason I'd stick with them is because I'm now first in line there, and they did get one allocation for the person before me a few weeks ago. With hope, the "Doubled Output" will get them at least one August Allocation. If not... I will go elsewhere with my voucher.... I'm not waiting until February.

As I remember reading the posting from Dodge, the dealers will find out what their allocation will be for the first half of the year up front. That should help as long as the dealer is honest and truthful to prospective buyers.

At least this time around no VON will be issued unless the dealer has allocation so if your dealer can't give you a VON you have zero chance of getting a car.

Correct, they cannot place an order if they have no available allocation. This is exactly why I posted the original question.
I hope the dealers know their allocations BEFORE the order banks open.

Hope so to. Kind of an important link to this new corporate plan.

I'm sure the bigger dealers will know... I'm still worried about the smaller ones.

I find it hard to believe that they won't give VON's out: FCA will still want to know what is out there for demand (in total) regardless. Those dealers without allocations could have it noted on the VON as a 'pending' order or 'not allocated' order. The dealers with allocations would probably say "confirmed" as a status.

The supply chain gets this info months in advance so they can get the approximate build numbers in line.
