Just curious to all the so called HELLCAT devoted owners. If u could trade your HELLCAT for a brand new Tesla Model S P90D with the Ludicrous package even trade would you? And the agreement would be you cannot turn around and sell the Tesla for profit. You have to either take the trade as even deal or no deal.
For me personally I would not do it. In fact if I really wanted and thought the Tesla was the bad ass car to have I would already have one. But personally I just can't get the excitement for the "Green Machine" which it really isn't. And for all the know the future people yeah it's a cool car and fast but not for me. So chime in your thoughts to c how the overall forum feels. And if the majority say they jump than I guess down the road the forum will have to change its name. And I'd have to guess the new Forum name would be HELLKILOWATT.org

For me it's all about noise, rumble (my HELLCAT'S make my walls and B@]]$ vibrate) trucks, motorcycles, pretty ladies (boobs) uh oh getting personal here sorry ladies and all out fun....etc
In fact just added this to my garage for my new toy hauler:rolleyes:
She's got 900 ft lbs of torque and that's a nice feeling:D MOPAR all the way!!!

Nope wouldn't do it. I don't think I'd have as much fun driving the Tesla as I do the cat.

I enjoy everything about this car and an electric car with an automatic wouldn't cut it for me.

Don't get me wrong the Tesla is a great car just not for me as a Hellcat substitute.

I would not trade. I own an electric car (Volt) and the 'Cat and fully appreciate that they are two different vehicles, each with a different purpose. I have driven the Tesla P90D - although it is super comfortable and fast and very well-appointed, it is not "alive" like my Cat is. You have to manhandle the Challenger, like a Harley, while you are using it, which means there is a connection between you and the vehicle; you are engaged in the driving experience with a Hellcat.

No way. For me a vehicle is all about sound, feel, connection and how it looks. The Hellcat has all of that in spades. I would not even drive a car with stop start technology unless I could disable it completely.

I don't think so. I was even debating between the gtr and hellcat initially, but felt the GTR was too much of a predictable car as everything was essentially computer assisted/aided. You merely sit behind the wheel and the car takes care of the rest including minimizing or negating driver errors.

I wanted a car I would drive or manipulate and not the other way around. Lol. Yes I have driven my cousin's gtr and never felt that adrenalin rush or established any rapport with the car, like I did when I drove my 2014 Shelby GT500.

Now with the tesla: it just takes the driver completely out of the equation and I would rather choose the gtr than the tesla, if push comes to shove.

I'd seriously consider it. Two very different cars but I like them both. For me the price of the Tesla the way I'd want it configured is cost prohibitive.
