What does the 2016 version have that the 2015 version does not have?

The issue is the 8.4N was literally pushed to its limits physically. The CPU is literally running at it's maximum nearly all the time. To add any additional processes would just be even more bloat it can't handle.

The question is, how hard would it be to swap to the new 2016 8.4's.

I would probably want to swap my 2015 unit out for a 2016.

I could care less. I don’t use it that much. The only thing I want is the "do not disturb" option. So you don't get bombarded with text messages or phone calls when your enjoying the SC whine or a good song.

It would be nice if Apple Car Play or Android Auto support was available. Considering it's basically a pass through and runs on the phone, but displayed on the cars display it might be possible even on the current unit. Assuming they spend the time to program that feature.

My Windows phone 8.1 Cortana works on my Uconnect just fine with drive mode enabled on the phone, no emails and it will read texts and do search from voice command perfectly

The 2015 system is damn slow compared to how my 2013 system acted... especially the navigation system.

Well no kidding! But it makes no sense for the system to have taken a step backwards. The new system looks better, but the old one worked better... :(

I like the new system better, Voice works great old one was a little bit flakey, but the old Kicker Audio was much better than the new HK audio

Never really tried the voice. Voice systems have always been pretty slow to react, and can't understand you sometimes. I'm glad I have it incase I need it for some reason, but I usually always just use my hands.
