With the announcement that the 2018/19 Barracuda will be based off of the new Alfa Romeo Giulia platform, I took a quick stab at what I think the Barracuda might look like. I didn't color or shade anything, so it's just a simple line concept. Could the replacement for the Challenger be something like this?

Yeah, it worries me. I made this concept to illustrate a point really; it's not going to look anything like a Cuda, it's going to look like a foreign car. They are moving away from the "retro" style, but I'm guessing they will keep some "heritage" aspects, like the gills and body line. I think It's going to be a depressing day when they finally reveal the concept.

I just pray it doesn't end up like that... I used the dimensions from the Giulia, so things like wheel placement, height, and overall length are a pretty good approximation of overall size for the new car. They want it to compare more with the size of the Mustang based on what I was reading. I mean, look what they did to the Cherokee? That thing is awful!

How did I not know the Challenger was being discontinued? Please tell me that isn't true because it's the only car I will ever want.

Oh hell that's an old article. I'll believe the "Barracuda" when I see it; I'm skeptical at best.

Here, let me go doodle on a napkin, scan it, and post it to the internet as a "rendering." If, IF, it does exist, it will look NOTHING like those ugly turds up there ^^^

Looks like a redesigned two-door charger to me. I dont think there is any way a Barracuda would look anything like the current gen Giulia even if it shares a common platform. If they do come out with this car, lets hope they dont screw it up!
