Sound is relative... After an exhaust change it'll sound just as stupid as our Hellcats :p

The Supercharger whine is loud & clear, However the exhaust is very quiet like a stock Jeep SRT which is major disappointment! I do hope the car eventually gets the SRT branding.

Yeah maybe just gotta wait for more new videos to surface. Going by this video it sounded quite tame. And you are quite right the whine is definitely audible but the exhaust is quite a let down.

This recording also kind of sucks, the pace car was too loud, and was too windy at times to get a good sound picture

Why do the wheel caps in that Trackhawk video show SRT, when Jeep is not allowed to use SRT anymore?

Yeah seems kind of odd that the wheel caps show SRT. Maybe they change that once it goes into production.

Tri-coat pearl to match my cat and I am in.

It was stated during the press release that the sound was amazing. Guess we will need to hear it to believe it.

Anyone have a guess on how long it will be produced for? I've got another 3 years on my current lease and would prefer to get rid of it first. Any hope of this thing being produced for 3-4 years?

Right now only '18 and '19 for sure. The next generation of Grand Cherokee is suppose to come out in '19. Usually the first year of the new generation change DOES NOT include the SRT model (2005 on the WK, 2011 on the WK2).

Interesting, thanks for the heads up. I didn't think the WK3 was coming so quickly, but then again the WK2 platform has been around for a while.

Also, per Jeep CEO, right now the goal is only 2500 or so units for 2018. So in other words, getting one of these over the next year will be another nightmare like most of us went through here for the Hellcats. If numbers are still close, there are only 2200 or so Jeep dealers in the USA and the larger selling dealers will get more than one, so do the depressing math......

Yeah I saw that on the SRT trackhawk forum as well. In fact they are saying anything between 2000-2500. So it may well be even lower than 2500 units for MY18. This is not good. Those dealerships are going to have a Ball.
