image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg [GALLERY=][/GALLERY] image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg Had some vacation time to burn and figured this would be a good week to take with the long weekend approaching....so of course I spent the past few days perfecting the finish on the cat and cleaning it from top top to bottom.

Began with CG Citrus Wash in the foam
cannon and washed the vehicle including the undercarriage. The finish didn't require clay as I did that recently, so used Zymol HD cleanse to prep the finish using my new Meguiars MT300 buffer and then followed up with 3 coats of Collinite 845 spaced 24 hours apart to ensure proper curing times.

Hit the brass monkeys with CG Meticulous Matte after cleansing them and dressed the tires with CG New Car protectant.

Also decided to polish the exhaust pipes up a bit and a few of the metal pieces under the hood, used Mothers Metal Polish with some 0000 steel wool, about 10 towels and quite a bit of elbow grease. Did about 5 passes, turned out pretty well.

LOL thanks Snappy....I've just a touch of OCD but like you I really do enjoy detailing! I wipe the engine bay down at every wash just like the rest of the car, so never a ton to clean up but this time I broke out the big dogs haha.

Your car looks great and 5 hours well spent. The red with brass monkey is sharp. Don't see many with them. Only have seen mostly black on any hellcat.

    Nice work brother

Wow! Looks good and I know how much work it is to just wash, dry and use quick detailer to make sure there are no water spots left over. I just did a full wash and wax last weekend and of course 100 miles later, my front wheels are covered in brake dust. I've got a set of Z23 pads coming today, so I will be finished with constant brake dust. AND... of course, where I park it at my office, the trees threw some sap on it!

You'll love the brake pads. It makes a world of difference and makes keeping the wheels clean an easy task. It's my sanity saver!

Very nice job - beautiful car, and house too! How did you do the detailing under the car - do you have access to a lift?
