Did they A) calculate a basic offset from a typical Challenger for your car, B) give them a specific offset to work from, or C) did you bring your car there and they measured the right offset for you?

both dgatzby and driver72 have ordered custom wheels with the 20x9.5 in the front and 20x10.5 in the back... so i told the guys what offsets they recommended and told him what i was planning (not trying to stuff the largest tire back there) and let him make the call based on the wheel he is creating.

Looks great...Are you going with a 305 in the rear?

A 315 can fit, but i guess it all depends on how comfortable you are with the possibility of it rubbing.

What about removing the rear wheel well liner and just coating it in black truck bed liner?

That'll give you at least another inch deep.

Or you could get a big fn hammer and beat the Wheel well in where it is rubbing.

...In which case, you'd still have to remove the plastic wheel well liner to get to the metal.

I've noticed a lot of modern 3pc wheels with spoke designs on step lipped wheels have the spokes extended on to the lip of the barrel, rather than stop short where the spoke makes that 90 degree turn to where they actually bolt on to the barrel. I'm sure it's mainly for design, and aesthetics if anything.

Now I'm really curious to see what a stepped lip wheel looks like on a Chally/Charger.

Thanks dgatzby... I went over your thread about your wheels multiple times, it was really helpful.
