do these require any modification of rear wheel well?
American Tire will not put these on stock 9.5 rims.. will anyone else? Safety issue?
Would there be THAT big of a difference between Nitto 275 Drag Radials and 305's anyway?

Headed for drag strip next week... trying to get into 10's

    THANKS

No mods required, they will work. Keep searching for an installer that will put them on, I agree it is a PIA.

no modification, they will go right on. Just if you do find a shop, make sure they dont ruin or scratch your rims putting them on

I've been running them since January on the stock rim. No issues, ride smooth and grab nice.

I having them installed on mine as I type at Express Tire and Wheels in OKC. I confirmed with the salesman 3-4 times before I ordered them.

I'm putting the NT555R 305/35/20 on the rears and the NT555 275/35/20 on the front.

Saving the stock tires for my son's new car. He's saving up for the 20" wheels, his Challenger SXT came with 18" wheels.

Did they scratch yours or someone's you know? Just curious how it work out if they did, after they regained consciousness.

No, I haven't had my rims touched yet for tire changing. I'm actually unsure of who to go to except maybe my local Tire place as they were really careful with my 08 Charger SRT when i put nittos on them.

I told the guy at Express that I was very anal about my car and that the wheels cost $2000 plus. Advised him to be extremely careful with the car and the wheels. He advised that he would be the only one to drive it on and off the rack and then would park it away from everything until I get back. Unfortunately I had to leave it there while I covered a security job for a partner. Picking it up in about an hour and 1/2. Of course he has the black fob, trip was reset to zero and top speed was zeroed out.

They've done work for me before with no issues but I'm over paranoid with this car. LOL

i took mine to Dr.Buick to have the tires changed...he has a new tool that supposed to scratch less...every car ive ever owned got the rims trashed from tire replacement.....he did my gt500 1st...not a mark....he warned me before the HC because the finish is more like spray paint.....he was able to change them with out making any marks on the outside edge and just the tiny, tiniest halo of a mark on the center where the rim gets attached to the machine....so it is possible for a tire change w.o making a mark......the guy doing it has to really give a sh*t........

the HC rims arent going to look good for long...they seem to damage/chip easy....i plan to get them black chromed once they look like crap....

Black chromed sounds awesome. I've already started looking around at after-market wheels, just in case. But I did get the wheel and tire protection plan from the dealer which is SUPPOSE to cover any damage to the wheel. Time will tell on that one.

I'll post some pics after I pick it up today. From what I've read on other posts it does make a difference.
