im going to be getting new rims and im going with 10.5" with most likely 27mm offset. Im worried about rubbing so would 315 be alot better than 305? The wheels im getting the guy said 315 will fit and shouldnt rub with 27mm offset.

    Which 315/35?
Hope your tire guy knows all 315/35's are NOT created equal.

The Street Comps are not a problem because a 315 is not created, but they have a perfect 305, also comes in the rare 275/40 to match the front. Careful with the PSS 315, that may rub at 27mm. Look at its section width compared with say the Nittos and the 305 Mickey. Show pictures when done, have fun!

Well I don't know how the OP has pictures of his question. There are more pictures and threads on rears here n this Forum for you to search than anywhere in the world I think. My friend Jeff working with one of our favorite vendors Triumph Performance Wheels has this thread. It don't get any better than this at 27mm with a 315/35 on the rear. This thread was my inspiration.

I recently did a 27mm offset Triumph wheel and had originally planned on going with Nitto 315 but after mounting the rim only and checking for fit i felt
They would be to close to touching and would require inner wheel well modification so i went to a M/T 305 and it fits but not by much maybe 8mm.
Bismark was right the 305 will absolutely fit, the 315's would likely work with adjustments.

In most cases it is not, especially considering the 10.5" wheel.

Buy tires to match your needs, you dont need drag radials if your not gonna try quick 1/4 mile et's.
    Summer tires for summer cruising
    Drag radials for drag racing
All season for all reason driving

No reason for 315's unless 305's wont give required traction.
