Well I guess Dodge doesn't want my money! No wonder they asked for a government bailout! Makes no sense. You have customers with cash in hand ready to buy these cars and they don't want to produce cars. Rant over!

Bad news on mine as well. Ordered Aug 8, Sept 9 got my Von, BX status, no vin since, now in BG! Not available for build.

Wonder how many other BX status have gone backwards? Something is up at the factory, holding yard full of finished cars and no regular new production?

    All,
Thanks for the input. I felt like I was alone. Just called my dealer and hes saying he doesnt know whats going on with Dodge. He has talked to the sales rep and not getting much information from him either. Dodge has a communication problem with its loyal fan base. I may not be so loyal in the near future.

I don't blame you for being frustrated, I cannot even imagine how I would feel in your situation. The only positive is that you are obviously waiting for very special cars and you are going to get it, I hope soon. I am confused about why they are being held so long. Could be inspections, could be trains, it would be very good to know. This forum has been a great support group because there are so many people who have been through this or work within the various operations that tie in with distribution of these beasts! Let's hope you all have good news soon!:)

    Thanks Tammie!
I consider myself a very patient person. Guess the Army made me that way. What I hate the most is no communication at all. SRT team says they cant help you unles you have a VIN. I ask them to give me a Point of Contact to someone higher up in the chain to give me some answers and they say just to email customer support. I email customer support and they say contact the dealer as they are in the loop as to the latest information. Call dealer and they say they have no idea. I guess when they took the Government bail out they inheritied the government BS too!

Did you have upgrades? It sounds like that might be the hold up. Were you given an option to change them? Could be the dealer has more orders than allotted. It really seems like the dealer ties in with each person's experience. My dealer is a smaller store, but has been very cool about keeping me in the loop. I ordered mine basically stock and I was the first order for my dealer. Your dealer should know how many allotments they have, where you are in that and if your options are on hold.;)

I am experiencing the same BS. Dealer says they have no idea what is going on...or if order will ever be produced. Great way to treat repeat customers Dodge. My only option was the automatic with silver paint...not very highly optioned!!!

As long as I have it by spring :) By then I will know what the aftermarket has been doing as far as suspension, tires, lighter rims, cai and possibly cracking the ECM.

I really believe this car will be a modern classic. I will wait...but I sure wanted one of the first ones out there. I guess my councilation is not having to return to the dealership for recalls as often as the early production cars. But what a BS situation.
