friend stopped over with his beautiful 392 shaker a few days ago...awesome looking

    noticed 245's on the back....WTF.....

do the SRT 392's also get 245's?

    275's are just pittyful......let alone 245's..

i know its a 392 post on a hc forum.....but i just found it odd why dodge would do that.........from behind the wheels look like SXT width when its the top dog RT

and im guessing the rims are too small for 305's right?

i will never get why Dodge puts huge hp engines in a car and gives it small tires so the engine cant optimize all that HP

im thinking the rims are smaller and wont allow 305's

i just think thats F'd up.....all to save what? $100 in rims/tires?-----just seems like Dodge is screwing you because you didnt pay up for a SRT...i get not giving you the brakes and suspension......but i dont get the smaller tires/rims.....wonder how much difference there is on a track because of it....friend got the RSA's because its a driver.......what size tire did my 2011 392 have?......the RSA's always did great for me...not sure how they will work with 15 more hp and the A8 gearing.....may roast the tires easier than my 392 A5

also think the Black shaker rims look better than the HC rims.....much easier to clean/more open space...maybe a bit to similar to a 15 ZL1 rim though

my friend skipped the hood stripes.....car looks just as blah as the HC........Tor red sure does look nice though

I had 305 nittos on an 8" rim with my first Challenger. 2 track days and a drive to Ohio no problems. Not saying its right, but...

Dodge= you dont pay enough for a SRT, so we will give you all of the power train, but give you small tires

yes---i believe his was $48k msrp, but he paid less

i tried hard to push him into a hc....but i doubt a hc would make a daily driver in WI.....he had a 2011 392 for 2 years and drove it all winter.........tried to get him to come to the track with me...nope......didnt use his 2011 srt track experience either....he owned a 2013 jeep srt(very cool)...didnt use his track experience again........i think he's the type who just wants to own a fast car, but not use the power.....he's old/retired...

1st thing i said when he showed up ''├Żou got the front license plate drilled'.......immediately looked irritated with me.......i had to brag up how nice everything else is......very cool how on start up there is a bee on the dash that races off....exhaust sounded better than 2011-2014 392's.....probably 2x louder....not too much different than the hc...but i didnt hear it during a hard acceleration...just a quick rev or 2

the whole shaker thing is a scam...its as non functional as can be....yes there is a tube from the shaker to the airbox, but the air box is all open on the bottom......its probably getting almost nothing from the shaker....would have been nice to give them a +5-10hp like the old shaker/ram air cars had

i figure our open head light is the same...cover it up and it would make no change....all a gimmic
