After months of reading most people are going back to XPEL, I thought I would post a couple of pics (overcast day today) of 3M PPF. Had full hood/full fenders/bumpers/side mirrors and door cups done. Finished off with 3M synthetic wax. Very :) with the results...
    So much for the fluff..LOL.....need to start saving for KW springs and tires for the track:D 5-23-2015 1.jpg 100_0518.JPG 5-23-2015 2.jpg 100_0518.JPG 5-23-2015 2.jpg

Began the discussion or a partial...$450, then I mentioned I wanted a full and cost jumped to $ 1100. Had to pay for material up front..$750-$800. The "sheets" are cut at 3M specific for the vehicle. Cost included surface prep, 7-year warranty and I had to leave it all day:(.
Hardest part is finding a vendor you can trust, but since they did a great job on the window tint....and I couldn't find a bad review anywhere....I went with them...The owner was excited about the challenge because our front end has unique curves..

A local shop here is offering $225 partial fender/hood and I believe ~$450 full hood/fender for 3M PPF. Have to ask specifically what else is included, but I am feeling weary still... will it yellow?... will it fade the paint unevenly?... will it cause problems if it needs to come off?...

Wow! that' s a good price. See #9 above. Full hood, full quarter panels, both bumpers, side mirrors, trunk and both door handle cups. A 7-year warranty against yellowing.
Tell you the truth, its my first film. LOL....I know about the headaches with all the information. Here is their website, hope it helps:
