If the weather is good Friday.track day for me!
Street? Track? On what tires? --any other mods?
Ive been getting 4.3 pretty constant with a 4.2 here and there, but havnt repeated my 4.1 yet.
The car is stock with 305 MT drag radials mounted on the factory wheels. My previous best was a 4.1 which I can almost always duplicate every time. I run 27 psi (cold) in the rear tires but after driving around they get to be 29-30 psi. All my launches have been on the street after cruising around and getting everything to operating temperature. It will still light them up if you mash the gas pedal so it takes some finesse to get it just right. I'm sure that can be solved with dropping the pressure down and doing a good burnout but I haven't done that yet, too worried about attracting unwanted attention if you know what I mean. My best times have always been in my custom setting of everything in sport except for traction which is left in street. It should technically be faster from a dig with the trans in track, suspension in street, and traction in sport but when I have it set up that way the power hits much harder and I end up leaving 2 black stripes all through first gear.
Total stock, best is 4.3 so far.
64 degrees, it will be even better once the roads heat up some and tires get some heat.
