Brooklands (opened in 1907 as the worlds first purpose built motor racing circuit) hosted a classic American car day today. There were three Challenger Hellcats present. My own Pitch Black A8. A Sublime M6 and a Phantom Black M6. One of the guys reckons that so far we only have 7 of these beasts in the UK. A Sublime Scat Pack in the foreground. What a brilliant day. We then drove up to a NSRA Hot Rod Supernationals event that my good friend and mechanic Brian was at. We were the only Hellcat present. There was some stunning machinery and I reckon 50% had left as we did not get there until 3pm and most had been there since Friday. I lost count how many times Kerry said. Can I have one of those. I think her head has finally been turned to American trucks and cars. Particularly that the Hellcat is by far her favourite vehicle of all those that we have owned over the years :D
p.s. The Sublime was a Canadian import and has the wrong headlight fitted drivers side. No intake aperture. Did I read somewhere on here that some were shipped that way and the centre pops out. Or am I dreaming. He is waiting for a replacement headlamp for £800 ouch

surprised they dont have HP limits in the UK.....thought you guys all drove mopeds

wonder how much it costs to import/ship a HC there? (curious)

also shocked it would meet emissions standards there.......

Yes the center piece pops out. I removed mine. Just a round plastic cover.

I need to slow my reading. Not sure about the lights without a hole.

Are you yanking my chain huggytree. HP limits may come to us all. Remember we are in the Eurozone and there are still bhp battles amongst the German fraternity. None have matched the Hellcat apart from the 918, the P1, the Veyron and La Ferrari.
Shipping. I paid £2400 for a 20 foot container with insurance. Did not want my baby sharing space with anything else so paid the extra for a 20 foot box.
10% import duty and then 20% VAT
    Emissions you have California.
Plus if it had been a German car with big HP I would have paid £1100 for the first year and £505 per year there after to tax the car. As US cars do not have a valid CO2 emission rating I pay just £230 a year to tax the Hellcat.
HF11CAT I'll remember to keep you in the loop mate
