Did you ask them if they had an allocation for your order?

That seems pretty screwed up because my dealer only had 2 allocations, I was number 4 on the list and I got a VON the minute he printed my order confirmation. I know I won't get a VIN until 2nd allocation or later but 68 days with not even a VON??? Sorry FC:(

Kinda sucks to think that people that really want the hellcat and can pay for it, cant get a car. The CEO tells people that everyone thats wants one can get one, but he knew he was feeding customers BS when he made that statement. This car was nothing more than a promtional item used to get people excited about the brand. Other companies use the same approach just with different products. The idea is to make a few so when people see them they super excited and opt. For a model in their price range. Not to make thousands of them. Its sucks but it is just business to make everyone feel like they have a chance when they really dont. And if dealerships could not get an allocation based off 180 days of sales wat makes customers think they will get one off the second allocations base off 90 days. It just aint gonna happen. Good luck to everyone out there.

Note that dealer in OH, selling 'below sticker' was a HOAX! I contacted them today myself to buy that car, and they basically said it was a bait and switch scheme, to lure suckers into their dealership, so they can try to sell you a different car!!!

Yep, I think that's truly dishonorable, to literally advertise and promote a specific PRICE on a specific VIN that is supposedly IN STOCK, and it all to be a COMPLETE LIE designed to get their dealership loads of attention and traffic, and it worked too, many folks swamped them, (and I got told "oh, simple software glitch, we don't have ANY Hellcat for sale, and NOBODY sells them for less than MSRP") Then when I said that practice of bait and switch is shameful, I was told "would you like to come in, and order a car?" --THE NERVE!!!
