Modern Muscle has a 95mm throttle body for the Hellcat. Just bolting that on, do you think you'll see an increase in power on a stock car? Or is this mod for a highly modded car?

I'm guessing it will make a little bit of power up top on a stock car. Hard to say for sure, and I don't know if Modern Muscle has dyno-tested this throttle body.

Can't seeing it being a benefit at all without other mods: PCM, tune, pulley (or two)

Ported throttle bodys can add some power.

Not without a tune. Which would require a new PCM. If you go that far, you might as well go a little further, as I can't imagine there's much left on the table from the engineers.

The MM throttle body is ported and polished to speed up air flow. The size of the opening at the butterfly is same as stock. I had an MM ported TB on my 392 and on the 426 stroker that replaced it. The TB provided slightly better response due to the air speed...especially at low RPMs...

I did replace the MM TB with an 88mm TB and picked up power in the upper RPMs. The 426 with the large cam required more air volume. I did notice the car seemed to have less low end response after switching to the 88mm.

I was happy with the MM TB but I do know it wasn't adding big HP. You might pickup 2-7 at most but the throttle response was nice. I might install one of his 95s on my cat.

How hard of an install is it? Can a rookie handle it?

This could be good with a tune and smaller pulley. Might have to try it.

I haven't really looked at the HC TB but if it is like the other Hemi TBs it is bolt off and bolt on. Easier than changing a tire.

These guys are on the damn ball! Ordered today at 1 and received a shipping notice a couple hours later. UPS says it will be here tomorrow. Not sure when I'll get it installed but I'll be sure to post something up when I do.

On a stock car, you'll notice a a slightly quicker throttle response. None the less, the supercharger is max spinning 1059 CFM in stock form (assuming standard air density).

Dyno gains with this will sell it from a marketing standpoint, however, this is a helper modification to a smaller pulley, tune and aftermarket intake.

Theoretical max flow for the ported 95mm would be 1182 CFM (prior to blade) to 1089 CFM (at the blade) to 1182 CFM (post blade).

Thanks, my plans were to go with a DS and the 3.09 gears. I already have Triumph wheels and Drag Radials ordered. With this, the DS, and 3.09 gears I'll be ready for the extra HP mods down the road . At least that's the plan.

TNCharger.. you know Dave over at MM. What does he say about putting this TB on a stock car with just a AFE replacement filter

I haven't spoken to Dave about it but like the 87mm for the other Hemi engines this is a plug and play for a stock vehicle. Of course it will enhance other mods too when tuned with them.
