So ive been looking at a couple of ppl reviews on the hellcats and srt 392s and I noticed FCA aren't sending them with spare tires anymore I understand reducing weight but at 4500 pounds already id rather have a spare tire and not an air pump

Hummm, I didn't have a spare on my 2009 SRT Challenger. As far as I know the Challenger has never come with one. At least the SRT versions.

Hmm, not sure if they still do, but they used to come with the run flats.

You will most likely find (barring a surprise blowout), that you will know when to replace because you'll be checking them after each burnout....

My 09 R/T had an option for a tiny spare, but my dealer never offered it to me...

Challenger SRT's have never had a spare tire

warning to those that use the air compressor for a flat----dont use fixoflat as the first choice...try using air only and get to a service station...if you DO use fixoflat realize that tire is now trash.....once fixoflat is used it gets all inside the tire and the tire has to be tossed...

many new cars dont come with spares.....its a new trend--get used to it...no cd players anymore either

also carry cell phone have AAA or something to that effect

It can be a bad idea to change a tire alone the highways.

Inspect your car before a trip......

I understand the tire people do not like working with a tire that has had fixoflat used but other than being a mess to deal with does it actually do something physically to the tire?
