Anyone here in Ontario sighted a Cat on a dealer lot yet? Where? When? Is it still there?

I seriously doubt with less than 50 cars built for Canada so far you will find one on a dealer lot. In fact I don't think you will EVER see one on a lot in Canada unless it's a sold car waiting delivery......
I have seen 2 on the roads with ontario plates but my dealer tells me they were probably training vehicles taken to various dealerships for training

Resume Speed mentioned before Canada would get 5-10% of the production. Assuming we get 500 cars which I highly Doubt, there are 35 million people in Canada for those 500 cars.
I'm CERTAIN demand will outstrip supply for Canada as long as our alloted production amount remains so small.
Cars will be sold a year before they hit lots

I was kinda guessing or hoping some maybe put on display at a dealership in the Toronto area. If only 500 cars in Canada rings true, I know what I'll be telling my dealer, Dodge and anyone who will listen if the car I ordered is not one of the 500...

Not unsold. The owner, who supposedly paid $93,000 for it, will be picking it up shortly. Derrick Dodge, to be exact.

Some rig pig is going to spend 93k for a Hellcat with the price of oil falling like a rock? I've bought a couple of trucks from Derrick Dodge in the past & always got treated good by those guys. But 93K is way too much in my books for this car. Don't care if your the first in Canada to have one, just proves to me how f@%$kin stupid some people can be.

As crazy as that is I can remember a dealership in Winnipeg advertising an 1987 Buick GNX ( only 547 were made) for ONLY $ 125 K back in the day.

And what's that 87 GNX worth today?

    Buick Grand National GNX eBay

These kind of dealers can cause a lot of bad blood if they screw people out of their legit orders.

FWIW, the list price of the GNX back in 1987 was approx. $ 29,300 ( U.S. ) when a Winnipeg dealer at that time ( 1987) was advertising it for $ 125,000 ( CDN).

    As for the GNX prices today I've seen the selling prices range from $ 55 K - $ 75 ( U.S. )

No doubt, it was the car to beat in it's day. But to pay 125k back in 87 was as nuts (even dumber!) as it is to pay close to a 100k out the door, for a Hellcat today. I speculate at least a 1000 2015 Hellcats in Canada based on interweb gossip by the end of next year.

No question the GNX was a fast car in its day ( with a stock low 13 sec. 1/4 mile to its credit) . Interesting how its once impressive performance is now considered to be "slow" by today's standards and especially with the Hellcat's 11.2 on street tires and its 10.85 on drag radials.

I think I'd be lucky to get a low 13 sec. quarter mile with a Hellcat the first few goes. It will be a learning curve for me, properly launching this car will be a feat. Until then, a lot of tire spin!

I doubt this car will be an overnight collector car. But if you don't pay a 100k for one now, it may be worth that in 20 to 25 years...

You may surprise yourself with how quickly you learn the "sweet spot "for launching the car ( ie. launching it with TC on, launching it in 2nd gear, rolling into the throttle, etc. )
