Search guy, covered in two or three threads already. Not a chance in hell it will be a kit from the factory.

    Well that's interesting!

I'm curious what they did to the internals, if anything?
The turbos they added must be relatively small.

Wonder if they put a larger intercooler, oil cooler, etc.

If they didn't then it's awesome news that the stock internals and cooling system can take the 5-7 lbs of boost that is probably added from the turbos to give it the additional 100 hp and 150+ ft-lbs of torque.

Yea I wonder how much they built up the car for the extra power or if at all. I would love to see some
0-60 times and maybe there tire choice. And why they went to turbos instead of just building on the supercharger. And 805hp I would think more like a 1000 with some turbos.

They added the turbos because the Hellcat X plane was a supercharged and turbocharged plane, so they wanted to replicate that.
The reason it's only 800+ hp and not 900-1000 with the turbos is probably just as I stated, the turbos are quite small, probably adding small amounts of boost, I'd guess in the 4-5 psi range at most.
Just enough to bring the power up, but not enough to destroy the internals of the engine.

0-60 times on this would probably be very similar to our stock Hellcat's, maybe a tenth or so faster.
It's simple, it's about traction. They could make it 1,200 hp, but with our stock tires, it won't matter, they'll just spin.

The additional power of this car, at least on stock tires, will come at speeds above 55-60 mph, when you can use full throttle without the tires spinning like crazy.

The car has twin 61mm hellion (hope that's spelled right) turbos, I think I recall there making 5 pounds of boost...there is a company in Michigan that did the install.....I personally would think a bigger supercharger would make more sense... But I see the theme there going for...and it's for a good charity...

Hellion offers a TT kit for the challengers already, and fits the 2015, but tuning a compound boost setup sucks. They are heat monsters and don't like daily driving. You could dump the SC and run it 6.4 Apache or a sheet metal intake, and be better off but that really defeats the purpose of buying a Hellcat. You might as well start with a 392 and a built short block from arrington, and be ahead of the 10K ahead of teh game. 61mm turbos good for 900whp on their own. so really no need to compound boost for big power. The SC really just becomes a flow restriction after a certain point.
