Anyone with a sublime A8 with leather and nav looking to trade for an M6 with leather and nav?

I think that is going to be a tough one.
do you have a hard ship that causes you not to be able to clutch??

Nope. Just realized i like going to the track more than i thought i would. Plus the gf wants to drive once in a while and she can't drive a stick. Also i hate to admit it but i think this car was meant to only be an A8. My dads scat pack charger is basically just as quick and fun to drive. He runs 1/4 mi at 12.8 and with my m6 im around 12.0 to 12.3 with M/T drag radials. For the extra 20 plus grand i spent i should be way quicker than that. Its not driver error either as i have been driving stick my entire life and ive got my 60ft to 1.8 to 2.0 consistently. Im only trapping 119 to 123 mph. I really wish dodge wouldn't have hidden the real numbers on these M6 cars. Everything they released was on the A8. These m6's are nowhere near as good as the A8. Honestly in a small way i feel duped. Ive stated before that even with the corvettes the difference between the autos and the stick is marginal. But with our hellcats its a huge difference. If autos are running 10.8 and the best i can do is a 12.0. Thats over a full second and an additional 8 mphs quicker. Thats ridiculous

I'm sure you can drive stick but 12.0? I stopped by a track on Sunday to watch a coworker run his stock M6 with drag radials. On the first run he ran 11.7 and missed second gear. I got to see him make one more run that was clean and he ran 11.53.

I just got 500 miles on mine, I am having some detail work done on the car, oil change then I'll take it to the track. I'll let you know how it does.

Maybe you should do a little more testing before you throw in the towel?

Id love to run an 11.5 but i just don't see me shaving off another half second. My 1st runs ever were 12.5 now im down to 12.0. Its hot and humid as a mofo up here and maybe when its a little cooler out ill do better but man...idk. humidity is usually around 80% or more. And elevation is at 915 ft

You won't be buying a 2016 in sublime. No such cat! Color is discontinued.

I know. Thats why i said id only trade for another sublime. If i didn't love the color so much id just buy a 2016 in a different color.

Sorry to hear you don't like the stick. And I hope you are able to get what you want. But it's not fair to say you were duped. Auto has always been better at the strip as far as I know. I too was thinking about trading for an auto so the wife could drive it. But in the end I know I wouldn't like it as much with an auto. Also I am only at the track for fun. To me it's more fun to work at getting the perfect run vs just stepping on the loud pedal and getting a crazy low number.
Like I said I hope you find what you want but maybe you already got it.

Drove both an A 8 an a M 6 Hellcat on the road coarse at Charlotte Motor Speedway this past weekend. Though I would prefer the A 8, but preferred the M 6. I believe that this was the first SRT event to have hellcats and vipers.

I do agree that the M6 is a blast. And i LOVE the challenge of hitting it just right at the track for the win. But i also love to win. Also my track has some decent payouts every weekend. $1,000 on the quick 16. Good money on the pro E.T. even sportsman's pays a couple hundred bucks. Winning the quick 16 a couple time and make a couple grand extra a month would be sweet.

I agree with your assessment, M6 is a blast, however in stop light wars or at the track, A8 is the clear choice. There is a reason Dodge never posted the M6 numbers, not by accident. However, Doc Buick got a clients M6 to 10.7, while burning the clutch up during the run, on an E85 Hellcat (as I recall).

Lol well i don't want to be going thru clutches left and right. Don't wanna do an e85 conversion either. Id like to keep it as close to stock as possible and keep my warranty in tact

I understand. No one on this forum has posted a M6 1/4 under 11.5. Stella is working on it (as I recall). It was hoped that someone will get a M6 below 11 by the end of the summer, there a few posts on it, but Stella is only one really trying (in my opinion).
