I saw that they aren't the same, but they do have similarities. I just wanted to get a feel for whether this is isolated or common before I take it to the shop.
So I made it into the shop today. I wasn't expecting much, but was surprised that there was a code hiding. No CEL, and no MIL. It was P1DC8-00 Clutch Temp Threshold Achieved Autostick Inhibit.
According to the printout, possible causes include:
Excessive amount of WOT driving, or
Excessive amount of paddle shift usage in low gears.
I have only made one WOT run and it was up to 60mph, and I don't use the paddles much. I think there are more causes for this code, and my original issue.
So the "fix" this time around was resetting the TCM. I'll give it some time to learn before I decide on if it is fixed.

I too have noticed a slower shift from 4th to 5th under a part throttle application in Sport mode only. She shifts fine in Street, Track, and when using the paddle shifters. She has 2,684 miles, and has only *1* W.O.T. run to her credit. She did have a P.C.M. and T.C.M. update in May at 609 miles.
I notice it in Street...still. I also only had 1 WOT, and under 2k miles. Maybe I can get it on a dyno soon so I can see if it is noticeable wide open.
This is exactly the same problem I've been having as well. Mine dies it in street and sport, but it acts differently in each mode. What's the process for resetting the TCM? Is that pulling the battery for some length of time?

I have no clue if it is as easy as disconnecting power for a little bit. The dealer is the one that did it. I can say, though, that the issue came back. Also, today I had a no joke slip in first gear easing into the gas from a stop.
I played around with the 4-5 shift last night a bit. It does it more the warmer the trans gets. When it's cold it shifts normally. When completely warmed up, the 4-5 shift is really sloppy when in manual and 50% better in auto, but still not right. Sport mode makes it worse I think. Didn't try track mode.
I have 2300 miles on my 2016 SRT 392 I was getting a bad bang from tranny when I cam to a stop they have an update at the dealer I had it flashed it went away it shifts a little different now but it is reving up to 6300 now
