From a dealer in Huntington Beach CA.

Car purchased between 1/16-2/16 then dealer gets in 6/16

Has exactly what I want except the sunroof

    65k

The price seems pretty fair. The issue I have never bought a used car and it freaks me out

But this is so close to what I want and its in California without the CA Markup Tax due to being slightly used. And I can fly down and drive it home vs having it shipped from. Austin or Colorado.

Please tell me this isn't a stupid move =)

This is the car for anyone curious Certified Pre Owned 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat For Sale in Huntington Beach, Orange County, CA | 2C3CDZC96GH183401

passenger seat is manually adjusted and doesn't slide back as far as the drivers seat. Special care on the stripes. Future clutch wear/tear that isn't covered by warranty. Get past a few of these types of issues and why not.

Tell 'em you really wanted an A8, then find a scratch somewhere on the paint and offer $61K. Keep a frown on your face as you and the sales dude go over the car ... Be prepared to walk away without sniveling.

I wouldn't buy anything from this dealer. They are advertising new Hellcats as list price of $102,000 with a Dealer Discount of $25,000 to bring the price to only $5,000 over MSRP. They are a rip off and scammers. Run as far away from them as you can. They don't deserve the business. Make them eat the car as it rusts on their lot. (You asked for opinions, that's mine. Don't hate me for it.)

Keep searching the web and this board for better deals on the car that you really want. Buy one new. You can get them for under MSRP with a little more searching. Buy out of state, fly to the car, and drive it home. That's what I did and I am so glad I did it that way. Made for a great road trip story.

someone else already took the depreciation loss for the hellcat and that is your gain. It is a rocket and the feeling of driving one the first time is only a part of what you will experience owning it.

take care and good luck with your decision.

I agree 100%... The dealer is a crook.
