The wife and I picked up this good looking gal. Hope we are worthy lol. It's the first one we saw in person with the carbon stripes. It just turned over 600 miles.

That's a real beauty!! Is it "bright white" or another shade of white? I believe that there are two whites available for the Chargers. One I like and one I love. Yours is the color that I love on the Chargers and I'm still not sure what the color is called, that's why I ask. I've only saw two black and one red Hellcat Charger in person. You guys are very lucky! Congrats!!!!!!:)

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes!

graycat, I believe the color is Ivory Tricoat. And I agree. It's a very nice shade of white, especially in the sun or under bright lights. Almost looks pearl.

As a newb, I have a few questions. My wife and I are not new to hot rods but are a bit new to these awesome new dodge's. We had an R\T Scat Pack before we decided that we wanted more.

    1. The dealer sold me an extended warranty but I cancelled it later because after some research, I realized it was too expensive. Is an extended warranty really needed with these cars? If so, no problem, I have a better company to go through.

    2. Can the oil be changed in the traditional fashion without any hassle or special treatment? (Dump oil, unscrew the filter, insert new filter, plug pan, add oil). The dealer gave us free oil changes for life!! A very tasty gift but I'm not so sure I want anyone else but me working on it. I work hard for my money and others do not treat your property as they would their own. Or am I just being to picky?

Welcome! There are quite a few posts on changing the oil. There are two oil plugs, and other members on the forum have given quite detailed reports on how best to do the job. I'd suggest that you search for "oil change" and you'll find quite a bit of useful information.

As indicated in the WIKI link... changing the oil is not all that difficult, just a bit time consuming. A lift is essential. But with all the added things to be done more reason to do it yourself and not have someone else doing it. Also, the for life oil changes.... what oil, what filter, etc? I'd do it myself were I you ( and I do my own).

When they pitched that at me, I asked if it would be oil and filter Dodge calls for and they simply replied yes. However, I will likely do it myself. Thanks for the Wiki.....that helps a great deal.

Thanks for the response. Now I know the color of white that looks so good on an SRT Charger that I see locally from time to time.

I agree about the oil changes, I do it myself and recommend anyone that can to do so themselves.
