Waiting on ordering a CAI full kit until they solve the MAF. I wish my Legmaker fender mount true CAI would work from my 392.

What are the CFM specs for the AFE drop in filter?

BWoody tested stock and unfiltered stock at 1244 CFM (stock) and 1490 (stock no filter).

This was one of the first things I bought for the Hellcat, when I knew much less about the intake system. I tried getting flow numbers on this filter for months, but was never able to get any from anyone. I was only told that it flowed better than stock. To be honest, the stock filter felt better in the car and there was no real increase in SC whine with this filter. I'm sorry to share this with you, but wanted you to know what I experienced. I am not saying it's a bad product, as the build quality was very nice and it fit like a glove.

That's modding trial and error. I appreciate your input. The MAF is the key to the CAI. Bwoody i think will be one of the first to get this

I think that the CAI for this specific vehicle is part of the equation for an upgraded pulley and tune. Stock with a CAI hasn't produced real world results similar to what has been advertised from several vendors. BWoody is still in the running as they only advertised more CFM flow, which has proven to be true, but I still see only see a significant measurable improvement resulting when combined with a tune/pulley swap.

I'm rooting for BWoody as well, but I wish they invested more in R&D upfront with the MAF issue as they are still trying to work on a solution after having released a product.

Guys it's not a MAF issue, we announced over 8 weeks ago we fixed the issue with our IAT harness and we have had GREAT results even some nice gains from independant dyno testers. After a long 3 full months of testing around the US and Mexico we were proud to announce the fix for all aftermarket intakes. The harness changes the 5 volt signal at a bare minimum as to not set a code itself, The adjustment is linear at 65-70 degrees it's approximately a 1.8-2.4 degree change in IAT temps, at 180-190 degrees it's approximately a 22-24 degree cooler temp reading. The IAT harness was just intended as fix just for the over temp code, but on the dyno 2 different BETA testers picked up a significant gain with our intake and harness combination, The harness with the intake picked up a tad over 30WHP with both BETA testers, both cars were bone stock other than intake and exhaust.

So the IAT harness should also fix the issue with AFE intake?

Will you be selling the IAT harness separate or only in your bwoody intakes?

Mike, I didn't see the wire harness on your site just the CAI.

    Thanks Mike,
Just received my harness and installed yesterday. Now when a warm day comes, we shall see how the temps look.
