Yes, the Alacantara seats are vented and heated. I have owned 4 Challengers (2009 SRT8, 2013 392, 2015 Hellcat, 2016 Hellcat). In the 2009 I had leather seats, and Alacantara in the 2013. I liked the Alacantara seats so much that I ordered them in my first Hellcat. My 2016 Hellcat was a dealer order that I picked up therefore I was not able to specify the options, so I have the Nappa leather that was an upgrade in 2015, but standard for 2016 (unless you want red interior or specifically order the black Alacantara). I have had both types of seats in 2 cars now, and I prefer the Alacantara, but that is my personal choice. For the way I use my car, I never noticed any poor wearing of the Alacantara, in fact it is more difficult to scuff than the Nappa leather. :)

This. The cooling works quite well considering it has been in the 100's here recently. Heated steering wheel worked well during the winter. Rear seats are only heated, not cooled unfortunately.

I had them in my SRT Jeep and they held up nicely. Looked the same as the day I bought the car when I traded it 2 years later. I have the leather in my HC and I prefer the softness (and smell) of leather but the alcantara is nice and comfortable and held up great, just a personal preference. To me "alcantara" is a fancy way of saying cloth interior LOL. I'll have mine with leather thank you ;)

It may just be a difference of opinion of if they wear Better than leather. Like in the leather how you have to be careful to not move or scrap across seat to stop the wrinkles, you don't have to worry abt that with the alcantera

Actually, think suede and you are a lot closer. Yes, it is synthetic, but the feel is not like a cloth seat.
