hey guys. Quick question. On a 70ish degree day, after a few short pulls, what does your temp gauge usually read on the dash? Mine seemed to click up and down a few times after stopped at a red light after 2 short 2/3 pulls. After it satbat the light, it dropped back down below half like it is usually at.

    Thx guys.

I'm not sure I understand your question? 205F is my "normal" operating temp for water, 215F for oil and they both fluctuate predictably when the engine is loaded. (up...)

Your question is how much is "normal"?

Mine move up a few degrees, but not anything more than that, I haven't loaded it hard enough and long enough to see anything above that. I wouldn't expect anything more than a few degrees unless you're road racing/drag racing (with 70degF days anyway)

Sounds normal. Mine overheated after a stuck thermostat so I monitor my temps religiously now. Mine cruises at 201-203 and will go up to 206-210 at a redlight after a pull like you describe. If I've been driving for a while (30-45) minutes and pull into my driveway and idle sometime it will go as high as 221 but always goes back down to 203. The fluctuations at idle are normal.

Your description is normal. Mine behaves the same. No worries!
