Interesting video. These cars are being VERY irresponsible, but we see the Hellcat's power at very high speed. Check out the speed on the Hellcat!

    Good lord! 160 MPH!

Agreed, but they get there pretty fast. Was with a friend one night driving home from an event and had our wives in the back. Going about 70 and he asked how fast we would go if I just hit the gas for a few seconds. Put the go pedal to the floor and in just a few seconds we were at 100. Clear open road and backed it off down to the speed limit. He isn't a car guy but was shocked at how quick it was even with 4 people in the car. I wouldn't do that to 160, but it is pretty amazing how silly fast they can be.

Yup....did that in my 2015 SRT 392 (traded for the HC) and was running with an AMG. I knew I was in triple digits, but had no idea I had passed 155 MPH. And that was with the 392!

Just be very careful everyone. This amount of HP requires a very high level of responsibility. Of course, I do "get on it" from time to time, but I am also aware of others, road conditions and my own limits. I do "chicken out" easily and I will always err on the side of caution.;)

I'm the same way. When I was younger I did some dumb stuff, but now I need an empty road, perfect weather, no one in the car with me and a huge pile of pillows at the end of the road before I nail it.

Was with my brother in Ms and was on a 5 mile stretch. Did a roll by and turned around. My brother and a friend was in the car. Put in track and my brother said punch it so I did. Hit 175-177, supercharger was whinnnnnnnnnnning and backed off. My brother loved it and that's what I got it for. To have fun. He's the only person to drive it besides me.

I will never be bold or reckless enough to drive this in traffic but I would love to go to "Mexico" one time.

"Mexico" is this magical place where street racing is legal. lol Actually, when someone post a video of themselves illegally racing, they just say they are in Mexico.

Rather than implicate themselves, folks just claim they 'did it in Mexico'. That may actually mean "NEW Mexico", or even just that they ate a taco, earlier that day!
