Do you think the factory anti theft protection is enough?

I had the dealer I stall a lojack on the car. I also think that Sirius XM can track your vehicle as well.

Watching this one bfusion. I don't think factory is enough, and would like to see recommendations.

Adding an ignition interrupt is easy but should be done with care, splicing into ignition is no joke and must be done pre-relay.

Then it's a matter of where to put the hidden momentary button. Then you have to press it while the car is starting or nada. Alternatively use a throw switch and "deactivate" ignition when leaving car.

If you don't mind carrying it around you can use a wireless switch and fob as well.

I've waited 6 months for my Cat and still nothing. A long time in each stage. I don't think I would do it again if my car got jacked and destroyed

Dealership installed MoparEVTS GPS electronic vehicle tracking system. It uses guide point recovery system. It can even be set with different sensivity levels to where if someone is trying to put your car on bricks to steal your rims it notifies the them and the cops come.

Most ignitions these days are low voltage sending signals over the bus. Doc would know for sure.

I say have good insurance. I had a vehicle stolen once. It was take with a flatbed right out of a parking lot never to be seen again. People saw it but just thought it was a disabled vehicle getting towed.

This is also something else moparEVTS protects from, it can sense towing truck and alert you according to my sales guy. It depends on the sensitivity levels. He says most people see a tow truck and don't think anything of it.

I think I'm gonna bury a tile in the trunk in case someone steals it and can deactivate the Sirius locator.

    Tile
