this brake dust issue is an absolute killer. I wash it and in literally 10 to 15 minutes of unspirited local street driving and the front wheels and tires are covered. What a f'n pain in the nads this is. Never had a car where the problem is so noticeable. Do the ceramics yield a lot less dust and are they fairly easy on the rotors? Suggestions on a good brand and approx price anybody??? I'm gonna loose it over this and as you all know NOT the easiest wheels to clean.

Many threads here on the subject. Do a search. Put my new ceramic pads on before the 1st hundred miles. Love them and can't tell any difference in stopping power.

edited to add.......... No dust issue now. I believe they were a Powerstop product. Z-23 Powerstop

Put the Powerstop Z23 pads on about 1000 miles ago. No brake dust at all and I can't really tell the difference from the stock pads.

I had my 392 detailed with CQuartz and he did the wheels and calipers also. It made a huge difference in the brake dust. I am running the stock pads, and haven't put on the Powerstop pads yet even though I bought them already. The majority of the dust just blows off when driving, or if I wash the wheels it falls off much easier.

If you get the CQuartz treatment make sure to do the wheels and calipers.

Why didn't you pick the Z26 instead of Z23? Seems Z26 is more fade resistant under heat... Just Curious?

I was talking to StellasHC about the pads one day and he said those are what he got and liked them.
