Are my gauges correct? At 65-70 mph, it shows approx 1800rpm in 6th gear. Don't knowwhat it is faster, but I was getting 25-35 mpg on the hwy according to the gauges. Also, oil pressure is around 63-64. Is this normal? Less than 250 miles

25-35 mpg? Are you sure they put the right motor in, or just installed half of the 6.2. Wow that sound pretty good and they charged us a gas guzzler tax. I'd be asking for a refund on that.

RPMs sound about right, I know in my SRT8 2K RPMs I'm doing 87mph in 6th gear. One of the HC owners should be able to confirm it.

Oil pressure sounds right, but MPG is definetly not.

The mpg I quoted was a continuous watching of the instant mpg, however on the hwy, it didn't go below the 25, and was reading well above the other number much of the time. I was using a feather light foot too...

sounds about right.. 2k rpm is about 70 mph, 2500 about 90 mph. oil seems normal. I reset the avg MPG at each fillup. im averaging 21-23 mpg per tank (all highway or country road) with 5700 miles

when I'm cruising on the highway, and let off the gas I watch that instant MPG go up to 99 mpg (I don't think it has a 3rd digit b/c I keep trying to see it lol). OP are you in ECO mode? As soon as I hit the HOV lane to/from work I throw it in ECO. Street Transmission isn't bad either but sport or track and your RPM's are held higher.

Overall, however, I average 13.5-14.5 MPG on a tank (I foot "accidentally" goes down towards the floor whenever a gas pedal is near)

What does throwing it into ECO mode do when you are up to speed and cruising? There is no shifting for it to adjust and we don't have the valves n cylinders that shut down like other Hemi's .. just curious as I don't have this mode on mine

It actually drops into a higher gear. If I'm cruising at lets say 60 MPH in sport transmission then I believe I'm in 7th gear, as soon as I hit ECO the RPM's drop and it hits 8th gear (in my A8)......the RPM's certainly drop but I can't guarantee that I wasn't in 8th gear the whole time.

I'll play a little today on the way home, I found that if you have the paddle shift option off and you move the gear shifter to manual, it'll display what gear the car is currently in even though you can't manually shift.

My recent highway trip I got 9.7 L/100 Km or about 25 MPG, that was in eco mode with cruise on doing around 113 KM/H, or just about 70 MPH. I was turning about 1500 RPM. Instant was usually a lot lower, but average as above due to going up hills and mountains and flooring it around slowpokes. I would say your numbers are pretty good.

OK I messed with it yesterday driving home. In the HOV lane doing 60 in sport transmission I was running 1750 rpms in 6th gear. Then hitting Eco mode and it went into 8th gear at 1250 rpms.... Just an fyi for what its worth. For clarity, I have the A8

I was getting 23mpg, average, when not in ECO. Feathering the pedal I've been as high as 29mpg. 30s are possible but sooooooooo boring!

    No ECO mode with M6.

This car runs some serious oil pressure. I've seen it jump up over 70 PSI on the gauge when getting on it hard and fast.
