It's a few months from time to trade in my wife's ram R/T. We are thinking maybe a Scat Pack Challenger. Would love to have a second Hellcat but that is probably not going to happen. Anyway was curious if anyone has owned both? I know the HP difference is night and day but how do the two cars compare?

I traded in my 2015 Scat to get the Hellcat. Moving up from a R/T to a Scat Pack is a night and day difference and the fact that you can purchase the tazer and unlock the the SRT pages and drive modes is awesome. You will live it!!

I owned a scat pack challenger before my Hellcat. I have drove in a standard RT before and just like sizzle said, night and day difference.

Is the Scat Pack ride quality about the same? I like the ride quality of the Hellcat but think for a somewhat a daily driver it might be a little harsh. Also like the idea of the Scat Pack having a little more splitter clearance. Don't want to have to worry,as much, about scuffing the front as I do when we are in the Hellcat. We have about 300 miles on the Hellcat and may put about 1000 miles a year on it. Looking to get something we can drive and enjoy even if the weather is not perfect and not worry about putting miles on it.

I also had a Scat Pack before the HC. I agree with what others have said about it being a great car for the money with plenty of power for the street. I actually thought the suspension was a little harsher in the Scat Pack than the HC in street mode. My Hellcat seems to have more splitter clearance than the Scat Pack. It just feels like a bigger more plush car. This is comparing two Challengers, not sure if that's what you are asking about.

We have a Scat Pack Charger as well, and it is a fantastic car. Not as intense as your Hellcat, but wow, you will love to drive it, sounds great, handles nicely, you will have no regrets.

I've got a shaker scat pack and it is a fantastic car. Not as fast or even as loud as the Hellcat but an awesome machine. Nothing bad to say about it.

I have both--would say the Scat Pack is surprisingly good and up to 100 the difference isn't alll that noteworthy. The Scat Pack is geared much lower and is pretty tough car 0-60 and a better around town car than a HellCat in my opinion the Scat Pack is an incredible value.. Great Wifey car--you'll want to borrow it alot for quick runs. :)
