The brake dust is very invasive, in between the doors, all over both sides, the trunk, and just everywhere! after only a few hours of driving, the car needs to be washed or wiped down with a detail spray cleaner. I really wanted a torred, but got a killer deal on the bright white. I didn't realize at the time this would be such an issue. but then, this so far is my only complaint, and I will have to live with it.

Do yourself a huge favor and replace the stock pads with Powerstop Z23 or Z26 pads. ;)

Parts cost should be about $100.00. Old pads drop right out and new ones drop right in. Brake dust is reduced about 90%. No change in performance for most folks running on the street.

Search the forum for "Powerstop" for tons more info on this exact subject. :)

I have Ivory and swapped to the Z23 pads within the first 500 miles. Best 100 dollars spent on the car to date. It looked like train soot all over the car after one drive. The Z23 pads perform like the factory pads under "normal" driving conditions. I can drive for a week and barely have any dust on the wheels, and zero on the car.

yup, same here, getting the PowerStop Z23 pads (Front and Rear) helped alot. No dust to pressure wash off the wheels anymore.

No problems here but I have a full time detail crew that works for me at my dealership. Two details per week keeps her sexy.

Regardless of color it's always going to be there with the OEM pads, you can just see it on white. I had to replace the OEM pads just to keep my sanity, a 2 mile drive would leave a coating of dust all over everything and I have clean car OCD to the extremus.

I love the Bright White color and it was a "plus" for me when I bought the car. This color is one of the more popular colors in the line up but in the end it's about what you like, not what you settle for. If you don't like it, find one that you do. I have owned and loved black cars with the most recent being a Viper but It was time for a change and I was sick of the constant detailing required to keep it looking perfect. Have not done the brake pad change yet because I haven't had the issues with dust that some describe, probably because I don't drive it as aggressively as some. There is definitely brake dust on the wheels after a drive but it gets washed pretty religiously. When I do change them though, I probably will try the Z23 pads.

Absolutely love my Bright White...esp. being here in SW FL. Makes the car so much cooler to drive in the sun. Provides a low-key visual as well so that you are not so apt to be drawing attention from pretenders or others.

owned a 2011 SRT bright white...never had an issue other than the back bumper...every spring when i took it out of storage i had to claybar the rust flakes...never an issue anywhere else on the car...and i am very, very hard on the brakes.....not sure if the HC brakes are that much different than a 2011 392 car..i know they are larger, but id think the brake material would be the same...i liked bright white...when clean it was so bright it was almost a high-impact color to me....

consider a clear bra on the lower part of your car to solve it?
