Anyone ever have a pin/rod replaced in there body?

Last night 66 degrees our I take out my motorcross bike. And take I bigger Jump. I looking at the landing and a little kid is there on his 50cc bike. I kick the bike sideways in the air to miss landing on him and jam my wrist. Long story short I had pins holding my wrist together and bent one. They cut you open and basically side it out and in like a door hinge. Pretty cool.

I used to go to the gym with a guy that had a rod in his leg. He was one tough mother. A huge (not body builder type - but a really big (not overweight) guy that was mostly muscle) part American Indian guy. He was going for rehab on his leg as he was on his third replacement leg rod. He brought in his old leg rod. It was a titanium rod that looked like friggin 1/2" rebar that is used in concrete. He bent several over the years and they would open him up and replace them. I couldn't believe the bend he put in it.... He originally busted his leg crashing a Harley.

Hey, you and me both.... I'm full of titanium spiral tacks (I forget how many but around 30) and a 6 x 8 piece of Kevlar mesh. Blew out plenty of abdomen muscles in the past. When I go through the airport the back scatter machine thing always flags the area and they pat me down. Must pickup something in there LOL. Dude that piece of mesh was like $3K and it looks like window screen. I couldn't believe it. I told them next time I'll bring some scrap screen for them to use.
