Anyone Running Nitto NT05's at All Four Corners on the Street? How is the handling and braking? How is it a drag tire can be run and handle?

Going to start in Friday 275/40 & 315/35. Subscribe me, I would like to hear feedback on ride, noise, grip and wear if you are a reasonable driver. Hope I made the correct street choice.

I dont think running drag radials in the front is a good idea. They aren't designed for handing. Just at the strip

ya I'm thinking why run DR's on the front, just a waste of money (but I'm FAR from a track junkie so I'll await the expert opinion)

The NT05 is one of their street tires. The NT05R matches the thread pattern minus the center rain slits for the drag radial.

I got 15-20 miles in 45 degree weather in traffic so far. Picked it up yesterday, had to beat this bad weather moving through. Considering all of that, new springs and 10 new rock solid bushings in the rear its ride was not bad! They run a bit more narrow, that is not bad, the 315/35 can get tucked in the rear and looks great. Let's hope it is sticky now.

Sun was just right early to shine up its azz. Here we have the NT05's shown in full bloom That rear 315/35 on the 10.5" could not be more perfect for this car IMO. It is very compact and much different than the PZero. Actually if you want the same in a PZero, the 305/35 has a similar size to this.

That is good Doc for going straight forward. I about folded a 555r last year going around a corner. It did not feel good at all, I am too aggressive of a driver on exit and entry ramps and empty roads. They are in the garage waiting for some wheels, then we will bolt on to get to the track.

Yeah the 555r was designed for quartermile action. They do have a v speed rating. I drive mine around without a problem but would suck on a road course.

For me it sucked turning a right turn and attempting to hammer it on a long exit ramp. Felt like the damn thing folded and was nearly dragging the wheel. Road course?! Drag Radials on a road course? LOL reminds me of this....
