Have built many German flat 4 and 6 engines and have used it for break-in with good results. Just wondering if anyone is using it in the forum and if there have been any positive or negative results.

    Thanks,
    JT

Well I haven't but the hellcats don't come with break-in oil per my service manager at the dealership if you're wondering.

The break in oils like Brad Penn have additives necessary for older cars running conventional cams and lifters. With today's modern engines running roller cams and piston rings meant to break in very quickly, this oil would not help or improve anything. Now, if you just rebuilt your 340 six pak motor, absolutely, this type of oil is a requirement since the EPA police have mandated newer oils to remove those polluting additives that were required for the older engines.
