I'm sitting here at my dealership getting the Chally Hellcat's 1st oil change and having them tweak the alignment which pulled right since day 1.
Oil change service plan is dirt cheap: $235 for 4 changes. That's what the oil costs alone! Let's see if they bait and switch on me like the other dealership did a few weeks ago. In that case the price on my bill was $60 more than quoted.
I've been waiting for almost 4 hours now..and they're not busy. People getting oil changes have come and gone, most in about 30 min. Not mine.
At the 1.5 hour mark I walked into the shop to see what was up. There were 4 techs working on the oil change. One was wrestling with the oil filter. He couldn't get it off. I never saw them drain the oil cooler or remove the filter, but I may have just missed it since I was pacing around the area and talking on the phone.
Is there a way to check if the cooler was drained? I guess it might be a little oily by the drain. Will have to look. I did see them pouring in oil from a Pennzoil case rather than just from the volume system they use for regular oil.
Fingers are crossed. Update to come if I ever get outta here!
