Anyone have any leads on where to purchase the ATI 918999HC Hellcat damper installation stud, ATI is out of stock and all they can say is that they are being made with no idea of when the will be available. We are at the point of ready to install the ATI damper/pulley and would ideally like to have the stud asap Any help or suggestions is much appreciated

Are you referring to the crank bolt?

no not the crank bolt, the stud adapter that is required to thread into the crank on one end and the other end is 5/8 16 thread ( IIRC ) that threads into the damper installation tool

Understood. You might try calling AJ Berge at Hemituner Performance. I got my kit from him. He might have them or a lead for you. 516-603-9276

I found two damper install kits that have the M16 x 1.5 adapter stud and ordered both from Amazon for insurance if one just happens to be bad or breaks, we should be able to finish the install this coming weekend

Is this damper install kit specific to the ATI damper or is it needed for any damper swap on a Hellcat? I am ordering an Innovators West 9% OD kit this week and would like to know if I need this install kit for my swap also. Thanks!

When I asked them, they said no cutting of bolt heads or timing cover needed; that is why I went with their product over ATI. I will know for sure when I get it installed and will let you know the outcome.

Still would like to know if I need this damper install kit the OP was talking about. It would suck if I find out I need it after the front clip is torn down and it holds up the install. dhg66 any idea on this? Is the install kit you asked about only for the ATI kit or is it needed for any damper swap?
    Thanks!

If innovator's can't help, maybe ask Speedlogix they've sold this line?

    Hi

you need a damper install kit that has a M16 * 1.5 mm pitch threaded stud. It is not specific to the ATI damper. Most damper install kits do not have this M16 * 1.5 mm pitch threaded stud. There are some damper install kits on Amazon that have 12 different adapter studs and with this many one is usually the M16 * 1.5 MM one, but you need to confirm to be sure.

You do not need to tear down the front clip, just drop the fans out the bottom of the car, they will not come out the top. Make sure you get a new damper bolt I think the HHP pinning kit comes with a new bolt but the ATI pinning kit does not. Have something to lock the flexplate so you can apply enough force to break the damper bolt loose and retorque the new one to the 239 ft lbs. We ( my friend) fabricated a lock to fit the flexplate teeth out of some flat bar. Buy a small air operated drill, these are smaller to fit in the tight areas so you can drill the hole(s) to pin the crank. Hope this helps.
