Just a heads up, while I was running at Norwalk raceway last night I got a "service active dampening system" message that came up. I usually set my car to Trans track, paddles on, traction off, suspension street.

On my last 2 runs my suspension was stuck on sport & could not be changed & had a yellow triangle next to it. So I raced all night with sport suspension & when I got home I got to lookin & see that my RR harness for the shock had rubbed through on the inside inner lip of the rim. The left side looked fine and far enough away from the wheel. The right side was clamped in but seems that too much slop was left on the wheel side from the factory.

    Check yours.

Interesting. My car has told me the same thing and I am on 17s. Is it driver or passenger side?

Passenger side rear. I would say that the harness was wire tied with too much slack left on the wheel side of the control arm. The LR is not even close.

So mine is on the drivers side. You can see a little notch in the wire where it looks to be worn into. Dealer said part is on back order.

I had that happen to my cat and I did not change tires.

I waited 2 weeks for the part going in this week for the replacement

so mine failed with stock wheels and tires.

I was thinking that it didn't matter what rim was on the car. It didn't look like it was hitting the rim.

It's simple, you just move the wires inward and tie wrap the excess to secure it. In some cases you can just slide the wires inward keeping them in the original holders if you push really hard. It is in some ways kind of crude but you can make it work.
