Got an important question here for all members who have the matte black hood on your Challenger or Chargers.......what is the correct way to clean, wax and care for this feature??? What has worked for you and what do you recommend? Also, what is the most efficient way to fix scratches on it? Got a good friend who just got his Hellcat Challenger and he asked some important questions that I didn't have the answer to. Need some help from some fellow members.

Carry a spray bottle with a 50/50 mix deionized/distilled water and alcohol and a microfiber towel for birdsh!t emergencies.

Goto the Hellcat.org wiki. Find service bulletin. Click view all, it's on page 2. Everything you want to know. Also the rear spoiler and gas cap and gas cap ring are also finished in the satin finish. As far as I know you can't fix a scratch in the satin finish unless you repainted it. As far as I know you can't wax it with conventional wax, no polish, no clay bar. The file In the wiki will give the vendors names that are recommended safe to use in the satin finish items.

I have been using Dr. Beasley's products for matte hood. Used it on my F-150 ford raptor satin hood and also on my Hellcat hood, spoiler, and gas cap. Easy to use and lasts a long time.
